Provide critical administrative support to ensure the campaign's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Primary duties include taking detailed notes during all strategy meetings and creating organized spreadsheets to track canvassing and phone banking efforts. Obtain campaign materials when needed. A key responsibility is to meticulously ensure all volunteer and voter data is entered correctly into our NationBuilder database. You will also assist our fundraising team by helping to research and obtain relevant donor lists from previous cycles. Organizational skills are essential to maintaining the structure of the grassroots campaign.
Data & Analytics Manager (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Assist the Campaign Secretary with managing the campaign's voter file in NationBuilder, using data to strategically target outreach and track voter contact progress. Analysis of canvassing and phone bank results will directly inform field strategies, helping to prioritize which voters to persuade and mobilize. This role turns voter interactions into actionable intelligence for the entire campaign.
Fundraising Director (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the $100,000 budget, which is critical for funding paid staff, stipends, and campaign operations. The strategy will include launching weekly email blasts, organizing grassroots house parties within the district, and relentlessly pushing to meet a weekly goal of $3,000-$5,000 raised. A key responsibility is creating and meticulously maintaining our donor list to build lasting relationships. Success will directly enable the campaign's capacity to compete and get the message to voters.
Event Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Set up events. Confirm events for weekend. Check schedules for the candidate and volunteers to be able to attend events such as senior center meet-and-greets (focus on social security/healthcare), Town Hall/Community Forums, Hosting or attend a public event on the week's theme, and ensuring to livestream the event for digital audience (Most likely IG, FB, or YouTube). Ensure campaign material is available at all events (report needs to Campaign Secretary). Book interviews for the candidate with newspapers, news stations, and content creators. Assist with setting up editorial board meetings with local newspaper. 1-2 earned media mentions (news story, letter to editor, podcast).
Drivers/Logistics Coordinators (small stipends may be available pending funds)
Ensure the candidate, staff, and materials get where they need to be on time across the large district. This role involves managing the campaign's schedule, coordinating transportation, and handling the setup/breakdown for events. Logistical support is essential for maximizing the candidate's time and maintaining a professional presence at all events. Will work closely with Event Coordinator.
Coalition & Outreach Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Build relationships with key community groups, environmental organizations, labor unions, and social justice advocates across NC-02 to secure endorsements and collaborative support. This role includes representing the candidate at community events and ensure the platform aligns with the priorities of local coalitions. Success is measured by securing formal endorsements and turning organizational support into volunteers and voters.
Debate & Forum Prep Strategist (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Develop and execute a comprehensive debate preparation strategy to ensure the candidate effectively communicates the NCGP's platform. The role involves crafting persuasive talking points, conducting mock debate sessions, and preparing responses to anticipated opponent attacks. A key focus will be on honing messages that resonate with the specific concerns of CD-2 voters. The ultimate goal is to present a compelling, authentic, and policy-driven vision that distinguishes the campaign.
Policy & Research Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Preferred expert on the issues, developing deep briefs on local and federal policy that impact NC-02 residents. The work will provide the data-driven foundation for the candidate's talking points, debate prep, and policy proposals. Will also research the opponent's record to identify contrasts and vulnerabilities, ensuring the messaging is both proactive and responsive.
Merchandise & Apparel Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds)
Develop and execute a merchandise strategy that amplifies candidate visibility, promotes brand consistency, generates crucial campaign revenue, and embodies the core values of the Green Party. This involves managing the entire product lifecycle—from design and sourcing to sales and fulfillment—all within a strict $5,000 budget. A key requirement of this role is a commitment to ethical sourcing, prioritizing local unionized printers and manufacturers, Black-owned businesses, and suppliers who utilize sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
Website Manager (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Responsible for creating, designing, and maintaining the campaign's official website using NationBuilder including creating an online store for merchandise. Primary duty is to ensure the site is visually compelling, user-friendly, and effectively communicates the candidate's message, the Green Party platform, and values to voters. Will work closely with the content team to keep all event information, blog posts, and policy positions up-to-date and accurate. A strong focus will be placed on optimizing the site for mobile devices and search engines to maximize reach and engagement across the district.
Media Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
This will be the creative engine of the campaign, managing all digital and press presence including our NationBuilder website, social media, and email lists. Setup editorial board meeting with local newspaper for the candidate. A critical duty is securing earned media by pitching stories and setting up editorial board meetings with local press. Analyze weekly data to refine strategy and the responsibility for hitting goals of 50+ new email subscribers and 1-2 earned media mentions.
Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer or Part-Time Position pending funds) (NDA required)
Content creation, schedule social content for the week, film short videos on the week's theme, draft social media posts & blogs, and design digital ads. Review data and adjust next week's targets. Assist with livestreaming events for digital audience. Setup editorial board meetings with local newspaper. 50+ new email list subscribers, 100+ new social media followers. Work with GCCC for digital content.if the GCCC endorses Michael again. Assist with setting up editorial board meetings with local newspaper. 1-2 earned media mentions (news story, letter to editor, podcast).
Volunteer Coordinator (small stipends may be available pending funds)
Train and deploy volunteers for remote phone banking. Coordinate with Field Directors for weekend canvassing. Ensure campaign material is available for volunteers (report needs to Campaign Secretary). Ensure volunteers have the information needed when questioned about the campaign (such as the "spoiler" candidate and the change from CD13 to CD2). Build and manage the volunteer phone bank operation to directly engage voters across the district. Primary duties include recruiting and training volunteers, hosting calling sessions at local venues like libraries and community centers, and meticulously tracking the progress toward a goal of 1,000+ calls. A key part of this role is fostering a supportive team environment.
Field Directors (small stipends may be available pending funds)
Build and lead the grassroots field operation, responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the volunteer team to make direct voter contact. Your duties include preparing walk packets and call lists, coordinate with volunteer leaders for weekend canvassing, events, and ensuring the Secretary has all the volunteer data so it can be accurately entered into NationBuilder. You will also oversee the preparation of all materials for our final Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) efforts. Success is measured by engaging 15-25 volunteers, securing 5+ new sign-ups, and knocking on 1,500-2,000 doors.
Volunteers for Phone Banking and Canvassing (small stipends may be available pending funds)
Join the grassroots movement as a vital volunteer to help elect Michael Dublin and promote Green Party values in NC-02. The core commitment is to attend weekly meetings to stay informed and connected with the team. Amplify the message by engaging with and sharing campaign content across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Most importantly, make a direct impact through additional activities such as phone banking, canvassing neighbors, or working at polling places during the election. Positive energy is essential to our people-powered campaign.
